The Architect's Cookbook
The purpose of this Substack is to inform and engage in learning cloud, datacenter, and network architectural concepts in a concise and easy to understand format.
1. Why this, why now
I named it the Cloud Architect’s Cookbook because I’d like to create a resource that leaders can use as guidance to help along their journey. I’ll pose questions that I first had when beginning my cloud journey (and of course the answers too.) Lessons learned and related news content in the world of cloud computing.
2. What kind of community am I building here?
This is a space for anyone regardless of technical ability to digest complex architectural concepts in cloud computing. I hope to create a community of diverse cultures and skillsets. If you feel you can add to my posts, please reach out or comment on the posts!
[What it’s not]
This could also be useful for engineers, just know we aren’t going to be getting into the exact details step-by-step.
One day I would love to be able to feature guest writers (leaders/engineers/architects) on specific topics in cloud computing.
No one architecture is put together by one person. Anyone has the ability to add to the conversation!
3. For clarity,
This is what you should expect: I’ll be posting on average once a week. (~50 emails per YEAR, less than your car insurance company ;)
Oh! And there is no subscriber fee.
Ahh, free.
Again, my goal is to build a community and connect with like-minded people in the field of technology.
